
Mariam Samman is an educator and writer. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Non-Fiction Writing and Editing and a minor in Mathematics from George Mason University. She will graduate with her Master’s in Education from the University of Phoenix in the Spring.
During her years of teaching, Sr. Mariam has taught in the community college, elementary and secondary settings. She began her work as a Senior Math Tutor, ESL Teaching assistant, and mentor at Northern Virginia Community College.
Working with diverse and varied learners of all ages and levels of understanding has allowed her to see education as a growth process. With this in mind, she has focused her teaching on hands-on learning for mathematics.
