Bayaan Academy was founded by parents and educators looking to provide an outstanding education in both the standard academic areas as well as in Qur’anic studies, Arabic to Understand Qur’an and Character Development. Bayaan Academy began as a home-school co-op with 12 students in August 2015 and is now a fully accredited full-time Islamic school, registered with the State of Florida, serving 170 students in Pre-K to Gr.11th. Bayaan Academy looks forward to continued growth and, insha’Allah, by 2024, will welcome over 250 students in PreK – Gr. 12.
‘Bayaan’ is an Arabic word. It is one of the names of the Qur’an. It also means eloquence and clear expression. As this program is designed specifically to provide a comprehensive hifdh curriculum coupled with concentrated academic learning, the name ‘Bayaan’ is chosen to demonstrate the complete concept.
Bayaan Academy is an Islamic “magnet” school with special emphasis on Qur’an Tajweed and Memorization and Arabic to Understand Qur’an. It contracts with Ahlul-Qur’an Academy for the Hifdh Program.
Bayaan Academy prepares its students to be torchbearers for future generations and to be successful in this life and the hereafter.
Bayaan Academy fosters a God-conscious culture where everyone is valued and respected, providing a nurturing environment which cultivates students’ creativity and their academic, social-emotional, physical and spiritual growth.
Bayaan Academy strives to provide the highest academic standards in Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Technology, with equal focus on the Qur’an, Tafseer, Arabic to Understand Qur’an, and Sunnah (Prophetic traditions).
